Anyone else go and see the crew performing at Parramatta, Sydney? (or are going to?)
If you can get a hold of tickets, I strongly suggest going. It was one of the greatest thing i've ever seen. We went to the Tuesday show - Opening Night - and I don't think i've ever laughed so hard before. We weren't allowed pictures, otherwise from where I was sitting I would of had some of the best shots - right in the middle .Excellent job guys and gal |

I'm reading on wikipedia that the show is coming back sometime this year and is going to be under a different name. does anyone know anything about this? and which characters will be returning? Wikipedia is well know for most of the information being changed by random people, so I wouldn't bet on it.I sure hope so. |

if you'd actually listened to the commentary, you'd have heard them state that the swearing merely adds to choppers character, i personally think chopper's novelty would die if he was to swear for the majority of the sketch.. this forum is very inactive.. i only joined the damn thing because i watched the dvd just before

Having belatedly purchased the DVD’s, I heard on the commentary for (I think) the Front-Loading Frog sketch you were embarrassed/disheartened when it came to light the sketch had been performed before. Well, the ‘roman sports’ sketch was pretty much the same as Ernie Kovacs ‘Aesop Broadcasting Co’. Normally I wouldn’t say anything, and I still laughed so hard my limbs fell loose but still; you mentioned it, and the sketch was over 50 years old. Still, like you said, you wanted it to be timeless.
